The Buffalo Bills are Stingy

2019 NFL Draft Hats from New EraThe Buffalo Bills have been making noise so far in 2019 in a down AFC. Buffalo is off to a 4-1 start and they sit in second place in the AFC East behind the New England Patriots with a 5-0 record.

The Bills should be 5-0 if it wasn’t for Josh Allen being knocked out of the game with a concussion against New England in the fourth-quarter at home in a 16-10 loss.

Buffalo’s defense has been a nightmare for other teams this season. They have yet to give up 20 points in a game this season. The Buffalo Bills will be on a bye week in Week 6.

They play the Miami Dolphins twice after the bye week and they also have games against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cleveland Browns, and the Washington Redskins within the next few weeks after the bye week.

This team could very well go 11-5 or 10-6 and get into the playoffs easily. Buffalo has one of the best defense in the NFL so far this season.  They have only given up 275 YPG so far this season.

The New England Patriots have given up only 238.4 yards per game so far this season.

On the offensive side of the ball, Frank Gore is still grinding away in the ground game and he will be a first ballot hall of famer when it is all said and done. Gore has rushed for 333 yards on 75 carries and two touchdowns. He has also caught six passes for 37 yards receiving. Frank Gore is 36 years old.

They have only passed for  232.8 yards in the air per game and they have rushed for 139.6 yards per game.

Josh Allen has completed only 102-for-163 with 1,122 yards five touchdowns and seven interceptions. He has rushed for 158 yards on 41 carries and three touchdowns. Allen is 23 years old.

John Brown has caught 28 passes for 390 yards and a touchdown so far this season for the Buffalo Bills. Brown is 29 years old and he played with the Baltimore Ravens last season.

This team also has a terrific coaching staff led by Sean McDermott and this team should be here to stay for a while. This team might be the class of the AFC East when quarterback Tom Brady decides to retire and when Head Coach Bill Belichick does as well.
