NBA Power Rankings 3/29/2021

Tyler Valdez

  • The trade deadline and buyout market have shaken things up with the Lakers and Nets beginning to look stacked with talent.

  • Miami's being so reluctant to give up Tyler Herro could end up being what keeps them from reaching the NBA Finals for a second straight season, as many All Star caliber players were discussed within the last year but Miami would not give up Herro.

  • The Lakers have been spiraling fast with both LeBron and AD out, with a 4 game distance between them and the 1 seed in the West.  The Lakers and Clippers currently sit at third and fourth in the West, after controlling the top two seeds for the first half of the season.

  • Both the Suns and Jazz have played exceptionally well with the Denver Nuggets looking rejuvenated after the addition of Aaron Gordon.  The road to the Finals could be extremely tough for any team in the West.
