Jamal Adams on his Way Out of New York?

The New York Jets already drop to 0-2 this season after they lost to the Cleveland Browns at home 23-3. New York was hoping to turn things around this season, but it is the same old Jets. Third-year safety Jamal Adams is sick and tired of losing. Adams unfollowed them on Instagram and he also removed them from his bio on Twitter.

One of the reasons why this might have happened is because Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams benched him for five plays at the end of the game because supposedly, he "anticipated wrong." Adams told this to WFAN Sports Radio via Manish Mehta on Tuesday.

This shows how much of a mess this franchise is in right now and they are not ready to turn the corner yet even though they thought they were with some of the moves they made in the offseason. Does this mean that Jamal Adams want to be traded by the Tuesday October 29 NFL trading deadline at 4 p.m. Eastern? I think it does, but I don't think it will necessarily happen. The Jets know they can't afford to trade him.

Sam Darnold has mono and will be out potentially for another couple of weeks. They have a very bad quarterback situation. Trevor Siemian is done for the season with an ankle injury. Luke Falk is currently the starting quarterback for the New York Jets.

Le'Veon Bell signed with New York in the offseason. Adam Gase was brought in to be the new head coach in the offseason and things are not turning out well right now.

Adams was the seventh overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He is 23 years old. Jamal Adams is under contract for the remainder of this year and next year. He has a fifth-year option available on his contract. If that is picked up, Adams will get fully guaranteed money and he will then be a free agent after the 2021 season.

Jamal Adams is one of the best safeties in the game. In two games played so far this season, he has recorded 11 tackles and one tackle was for a loss. Adams also has one pass deflection.

In his 34-game career so far, he has 19 pass deflections, one interception, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 208 tackles, and 19 tackles for a loss.

A few teams that could potentially use him the Los Angeles Chargers, the Cleveland Browns, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Houston Texans, the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Giants, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Chicago Bears.

I think the two favorites to land him would be the Los Angeles Chargers or the Dallas Cowboys. This could be an interesting topic to talk about within the coming days and potentially weeks if the New York Jets continue to go down hill.
