The young gun snipers make the World Juniors so much fun.
1. Kirby Dach
Do I really need to explain to you why to watch Dach? He helped the Blackhawks upset the Oilers in the NHL PLAYOFSS LAST SEASON. He’ll dominate. Next.
2. Tim Stützle
It really sucks Germany is trying to have a mediocre team this tournament. Stützle is an incredible talent who will surely impress as he’s bound to play ridiculous minutes if Germany wants to win a game or two.
3. Trevor Zegras
Arguably the top American last tournament, Zegras brings his A+ passing game to Edmonton and has some players to feed the biscuit to. Now if they come through clutch and score is a whole nother story.
4. Marco Rossi
Austria would be relegated in a normal tournament, but it’ll be fun to see Rossi skate through five guys and score Austria’s only goals of the tournament.
5. John-Jason Peterka
Germany’s powerplay would have been the best in the tournament if they had Seider and Reichel, but JJ playing alongside Stützle will surely make for some beautiful goals. Peterka should have been a first round pick in the NHL Draft and he’s going to show you why in the bub.
