Aaron Rodgers continues to be amazing for the Green Bay Packers week in and week out. Rodgers completed 27-of-35 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-10 win at home against The Washington Football Team.
He is one of the reasons why the Packers are on a six-game winning streak. Every single week, Aaron Rodgers continues to have amazing chemistry with wide receiver Davante Adams. On the opening drive of the football game, Rodgers threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams. He finished with six receptions for 76 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Rodgers threw two other touchdown passes. One of them was to Allen Lazard from 10 yards out in the second quarter. The other was to Robert Tonyan from 20 yards out in the third quarter for Green Bay. The Packers offense was able to do what it wanted against a very overrated Washington Football Team defense.
Head Coach Matt LaFleur of the Green Bay Packers deserves credit for making the relationship work with Aaron Rodgers week in and week out. As for Ron Rivera and The Washington Football Team, his team has been massively underachieving so far this season.
Washington’s defense has not lived up to its expectations this season, despite sacking Aaron Rodgers a couple of times. The Green Bay Packers are miles ahead better than The Washington Football Team.
Green Bay once again is in the Super Bowl conversation because of Aaron Rodgers. The defense has looked a lot better this season and they made some key defensive stops in the red zone against Washington’s offense.
A lot of people feel like it will be the Achilles heel, but I think it feels different this season for the Green Bay Packers. However, when Aaron Rodgers is on your football team, you always have a chance to do something special.
That Week 1, 38-3 loss against the New Orleans Saints for the Green Bay Packers feels like an outlier and a completely distant memory for this franchise. They just seemed flat that day and have found their rhythm ever since.
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (6-1) will face Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals (6-0) for a Thursday night football showdown on the road.
The Washington Football Team (2-5) will face the Denver Broncos (3-4) on the road next Sunday.
