Every year when All Star teams are announced there's a handful of players that could have deserved to be on the team, but due to the amount of talented players in the league, it can be difficult to make everyone happy. Christian Wood, for example, is averaging 23 points and 10 rebounds a game, but wasn't even discussed as being one of the All Star snubs due to the Rockets being 11-23 and out of the playoff picture. Injuries can also play a large factor. CJ McCollum is scoring over 26 PPG but only managed to play 13 games before a broken foot ended his strong start to the season. While he will be back before the playoffs, the amount of games missed is undeniable when determining All Stars. Some players may simply be playing their role that is best for the team rather than trying to stuff the stat sheets. Tobias Harris is putting up 20 points and 7 rebounds a game. While these are great numbers they could be even higher had he not been the third scoring option on the team. Let me know if you think I missed anybody, or even tweet me how your 2nd All Star team would shake out!
