What Was Antonio Brown Thinking?

Glenn Kaplan

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown had a serious meltdown for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Sunday afternoon’s game against the New York Jets on the road. He took off his helmet and shoulder pads in the middle of the third quarter. Brown waved to the fans and was basically out of control.

After the football game was over and Tampa Bay won over New York 28-24, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians announced that he is no longer on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In all seriousness, what is wrong with Antonio Brown? He probably has some form of CTE. Antonio Brown has not acted the same since the AFC Wild Card Game back in 2016 between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. Vontaze Burfict knocked him out cold in that football game and he hasn’t been the same since.

Antonio Brown has not been the same ever since that moment. The fact that Mike Tomlin almost dealt with him for almost a decade in Pittsburgh is something. He left the Pittsburgh Steelers a couple of years later after that incident. He quit on the Las Vegas Raiders and now he quit on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers even though he won a Super Bowl Title with them last year.

Quarterback Tom Brady has been advocating for him and it must feel awful he just left like that. Antonio Brown was also released by the New England Patriots also during his tenure after his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Antonio Brown needs to go find himself in a mental institution and go get the help he desperately needs. Brown is not all there mentally and physically. His time in the NFL is officially over.

Antonio Brown still should be a hall of fame wide receiver because he was dominant at his position for a stretch, but his mental health is the most important thing right now more than anything else.
