Ringer staff writer Rodger Sherman breaks down the greatest trick play in football movie history, the Annexation of Puerto Rico from the 1994 movie 'Little G...
It's Wednesday, and what better way to start Hump Day then with one of the most innovative plays in football, "The Annexation of Puerto Rico"!
I know there has been a lot of innovation in the NFL throughout the years. You had Bill Walsh inventing the West Coast offense, Georgia Tech for years running the triple option, and now the run/pass option. They are all great in their own ways, but none compare to the genius of John Heisman. He created the Annexation of Puerto Rico aka the Fumblerooski and luckily Danny O'Shea and his Little Giants used it to perfection.
If you think there is a better trick play, well you're crazy. The Flea Flicker or Statue of Liberty don't even come close.

Have a day folks!
