Vice President of everything

According to Wikepedia (2021), "Ronnie Brunswijk (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈrɔni ˈbrʏnsʋɛik]; born 7 March 1961) is a Surinamese politician, businessman, footballer, former rebel leader, and the current Vice President of Suriname" (para. 1). Formal rebel leader? Ok, this guy is interesting. What is not interesting is inserting yourself, your old, overweight self, into the starting lineup of the team you own, Inter Moengotapoe.

The politician used his influence and status as the team owner and VP of the country to play like this...

Footy Accumulators on Twitter: "60 year-old Ronnie Brunswijk, the vice president of Suriname, picked himself to play for the club he owns, Inter Moengotapoe. They lost 6-0 😂😂😂📹 IG: tudnusa pic.twitter.com/64ti4xxoqO / Twitter"

Or maybe he is on to something, perhaps we'll see Kamala Harris starting next game as a midfielder for the Washington Spirit.

Side note: Inter Moengotapoe lost 6-0 to Olimpia.
