2019 NFL Draft Hats from New Era

The Tennessee Titans had a chance to create some separation from the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Standings after coming off their bye week. Tennessee only had a 7-3 lead at home against Jacksonville to start the second-half.

The Titans outscored the Jaguars 28-8 in the third-quarter as Tennessee took down Jacksonville by a score of 42-20.

With the win, the Tennessee Titans are now in a four-way tie for the second wild card spot with the Oakland Raiders (6-5), the Indianapolis Colts (6-5), and the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5).

At the moment, Pittsburgh is the sixth seed in the AFC. This is going to get really interesting down the stretch for Tennessee. They control their own destiny the final five weeks of the regular season.

The Titans will play the Houston Texans (7-4) twice, the Indianapolis Colts, the Oakland Raiders, and the New Orleans Saints (9-2) in the final five weeks of the regular season. The AFC South is not out of the question for Tennessee.

There were no touchdowns scored in the first-quarter.

Ryan Tannehill scored on a 21-yard touchdown run for the Tennessee Titans in the second-quarter.

With Tennessee leading 7-3 in the third-quarter, Tannehill threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Dennis Kelly. It was his only reception in the game and Kelly is an offensive lineman.

Brown caught four passes for 135 yards and one touchdown.

Later in the third-quarter, Leonard Fournette scored on a 1-yard rushing touchdown for the Jaguars (Nick Foles 2-point conversion to D.J. Chark).

With Jacksonville trailing 35-11 in the fourth-quarter, Fournette also scored on a 1-yard rushing touchdown (missed 2-point conversion).

Leonard Fournette finished with 97 rushing yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns. He also caught nine passes for 62 yards receiving.

The leading receiver in this game for the Jacksonville Jaguars was Dede Westbrook with eight receptions for 69 yards receiving.

Nick Foles completed 32-of-48 passes for 272 yards. He also rushed for 20 yards on three carries.

With Tennessee leading 35-17 in the fourth-quarter, Ryan Tannehill scored on a 3-yard rushing touchdown.

A lot of people thought that Jacksonville wasn’t going to be steam rolled in this game.

The Titans are putting the rest of the NFL on notice that they could be a very dangerous team moving forward.

Jacksonville (4-7) will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7) next Sunday.

Tennessee (6-5) will be on the road against the Indianapolis Colts (6-5) next Sunday.
