The Sports Stance Ep 160: Belichicks March Madness Frenzy

Greg Cowan

The guys are back with some luck of the Irish. They start off with the frenzy that was Bill Belichick and the Patriots spending like they got ALL the money. Did our resident Patriots fan like the moves? Why do we think it took Bill all these years to finally realize he could get the best players through free agency? Plus some of the other major moves in the beginning of free agency.

Next, It’s “Well, This is Awkward” of the week. The guys have two for the week starting with Michael Brocker and his comments on Jared Goff coming back to bite him, and then over to the NBA where Toronto Raptor Malachi Flynn’s Dad commented on a Raptors subreddit complaint that his son should be getting more playing time.

After, the guys dive into the Joel Embiid injury, what does it mean for the Sixers chances at staying atop the Eastern Conference. Oh, and LeBron is now a part owner of the Boston Red Sox. How did that come to be and what our the guys thoughts (as Red Sox fans) on the move.

Finally, the guys give their March Madness champ picks and an upset pick each. Then end the show with a sports fan hypothetical that involves receiving 60k a year to just be a fan of a team that isn’t your favorite.

That wraps it up until next time. As always don’t forget to like and subscribe to us and ALL the great shows at 12oz Sports!
