As the playoff qualifiers are finally here, I thought I would give my two cents on how some players have looked.
The good: Darcy Kuemper. He’s the only reason Arizona is off to the real dance. The Yotes were heavily outplayed by Nashville, and still won since the Sasky product put up a .933SV%.
The bad: Marner/Matthews. Are they even playing? These two have been irrelevant for the Leafs against Columbus. I mean you’re making a combined twenty mil, maybe score a goal or two?
The ugly: every single goaltender who has played in the Oilers/Blackhawks series. Neither Crawford, Koskinen or Smith has a save percentage above .880 and they’ve all let in some brutal goals. This is painful to watch, and the exact opposite of what I’d expect from a legit playoff series.
