Many may think this is much to do about nothing, but Purdue will be without their 10 feet tall, 565 pound drum, marking the first time since 1979 the Boilers marching band will be without the drum.
Chalk this up to Notre Dame being a bit goofy here. They won't allow anyone but their own team and band to use the main tunnel at Notre Dame stadium. This sort of posturing should probably come from a team that doesn't need OT to beat Florida State or only beating a MAC school by 3, but hey I'm jaded. Full disclosure, I am a Purdue fan.
