Ravens release WR Michael Crabtree after 1 season

OWINGS MILLS, Md.  — Wide receiver Michael Crabtree was dropped by the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens signed him as a free agent last year and have decided to part ways.

Crabtree hauled in 54 throws for 607 yards and three touchdowns in this past year after scoring 25 TD’s in 3 years at Oakland. The highlight of his stay in Baltimore was a two TD performance during a playoff loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Since Lamar Jackson became the starter at QB, Crabtree had only 11 catches and 1 TD over the final seven regular season games.

 

Side note: Crabtree played in San Francisco from 2009-2014 and Oakland in 2015. He has 633 career catches for 7,477 yards and 54 TDs.
