The Sports Stance Ep. 177: Dinger Derby, Open Chips, and Crumpled Cups
/

The guys are bringing it this week. Paul is happy the hockey season is over, not because the Lightning won, but just because it means the long haul playoffs are done. This is awkward though, because with the Cup won the Lightning partied hard and dented Lord Stanley. What’s awkward about that? Where it has to be fixed….Montreal!

Then it’s onto the All Star festivities. The Home Run Derby was a smash with upsets, inspiration, and repeat champions! We break it down along with the game itself and what may be in store for the 2nd half of the season.

Next, the NBA Finals looked like it was gonna be “Suns in 4”, but the Bucks and Giannis showed heart and are trying to even the series up heading back to Phoenix. What happens in the series? The guys also look at Team USA struggling in its first exhibition games before trouncing Argentina heading towards the Olympics.

Finally, the guys give their predictions for The Open Championship. They as always feel super confident in their picks, but by mid 1st round will almost be 100% wrong on everything they said.

Until next time. As always don’t forget to like and subscribe to us and ALL the great shows at 12oz Sports!
