- Lakers lose to Nuggets, but everyone is waiting for the results of an MRI on Anthony Davis' achilles. Without Davis the Lakers are in the same boat as the Warriors sans Klay, good but title contenders? NO
- Jazz keep rolling, and display beautiful ball movement, similar to that of the 2015 NBA Champion Warriors. The more they keep playing like this the harder it will be to discount their title potential.
- Boston showing signs of weakness with losses to the Pistons and Wizards. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are stars on the rise, but Celtics simply don't have that edge with Marcus Smart injured.
- 76ers hold on to 2 game lead over Bucks despite losses to Portland and Phoenix. Bucks couldn't capitalize with 1-3 record for the week.

While I predicted the Lakers would remain the top team and Detroit would remain the bottom team in my first edition of the Power Rankings, the AD injury and the Jazz playing well changed things, as did the Pistons improving while Minnesota looks Horrendous!
Come back every Monday to see how things shake out in the NBA. IT'S A WILD SEASON!
