The Denver Broncos led the Indianapolis Colts 13-12 late in the fourth-quarter. Von Miller was about sack Jacoby Brissett in the end zone for a safety, but he escaped and completed a pass 35 yards down the field to T.Y. Hilton.
It eventually set up the game-winning Adam Vinatieri 51-yard field goal with 22 seconds remaining and Indianapolis was able to escape with a 15-13 victory over Denver.
Brissett completed 15-of-25 passes for 202 yards. He also rushed for 34 yards on six carries.
Hilton finished the game with two receptions for 54 yards receiving.
The leading receiver in this game for the Colts was Jack Doyle with four receptions for 61 yards receiving.
With the Broncos leading 6-3 in the third-quarter, Royce Freeman scored on a 4-yard touchdown run. He finished with 40 yards on 12 carries and a score. Freeman also caught one pass for five yards receiving.
Phillip Lindsay finished the game with 59 yards rushing on 14 carries. He also caught five passes for 17 yards receiving. Cortland Sutton was the leading receiver for Denver with three receptions for 72 yards receiving.
They traded away Emmanuel Sanders to the San Francisco 49ers earlier in the week.
Joe Flacco completed 20-of-32 passes for 174 yards. He also rushed for nine yards on one carry.
With Indianapolis trailing 13-6 in the third-quarter, Marlon Mack scored on a 10-yard touchdown run (missed extra-point). He rushed for 76 yards on 19 carries and a score.
The Colts play in a very tough AFC South division and everyone in that division is at least .500 or better at the moment.
The Broncos playoff chances are most likely finished for 2019.
Denver (2-6) will host the Cleveland Browns (2-4) next Sunday. Indianapolis (5-2) will be on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4) next Sunday.
