Baker Mayfield threw the go-ahead 7-yard touchdown pass to Rashard Higgins with 1:44 remaining in regulation.

Buffalo had a chance to tie the game late, but Steven Hauschka missed a 53-yard field goal with 17 seconds remaining as the Browns hanged on to beat the Bills by a score of 19-16.

Mayfield threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Jarvis Landry in the first-quarter (missed extra-point). Baker Mayfield completed 26-of-38 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for one yard on two carries.

Landry caught nine passes for 97 yards receiving and a touchdown. Odell Beckham Jr. caught five passes for 57 yards receiving.

Kareem Hunt made his season debut for Cleveland in the backfield. He rushed for 30 yards on four carries. Hunt also caught seven passes for 44 yards receiving.

Nick Chubb was the leading rusher for the Cleveland Browns with 116 yards on 20 carries. He also caught two passes for five yards receiving.

Higgins finished the game with one reception on seven yards and a touchdown.

Demetrius Harris caught two passes for 28 yards receiving.

With Buffalo trailing 6-0 in the second-quarter, Josh Allen scored on a 10-yard touchdown run.

Tremaine Edmunds sacked Baker Mayfield in the end zone for a safety to tie the game at nine.

Josh Allen scored on a 1-yard touchdown run for the Buffalo Bills with less than 5:38 remaining in regulation.

Allen completed 22-of-41 passes for 266 yards. He also rushed for 28 yards on six carries and two scores.

Devin Singletary was the leading rusher for Buffalo with 42 yards on eight carries. He also caught three passes for eight yards receiving.

John Brown was the leading receiver with five receptions for 77 yards receiving.

The Buffalo Bills (6-3) will be on the road against the Miami Dolphins (2-7) next Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns (3-6) will be at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) on Thursday night.
