The Green Bay Packers made a 2-point stand after an 8-yard rushing touchdown by Tyler Huntley for the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth quarter. Green Bay won the football game over Baltimore by a final score of 31-30 and Aaron Rodgers had a lot to do with it.
Aaron Rodgers was toying his way with the Ravens defense all game long for the banged-up Ravens. He completed 23-of-31 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns. Rodgers also rushed for 11 yards on four carries.
Rodgers threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams in the second quarter, a 9-yard touchdown to Aaron Jones in the third quarter, and an 11-yard touchdown pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the fourth quarter.
Adams caught six passes for 44 yards receiving and a touchdown. He continues to play well for the Green Bay Packers.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling was Green Bay’s leading receiver with five receptions for 98 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Aaron Jones only caught two passes for 12 yards receiving and a touchdown. He was also the Packers leading rusher with 58 yards on 13 carries.
A.J. Dillon also scored on a 2-yard rushing touchdown for Green Bay in the second quarter. He finished with 22 yards rushing on seven carries and a score. Dillon also caught only one pass for 16 yards receiving.
The Green Bay Packers defense had a difficult time stopping Tyler Huntley and Mark Andrews.
Tyler Huntley completed 28-of-40 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 73 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns and was Baltimore’s leading rusher in this football game.
Mark Andrews caught 10 passes for 136 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He was the Rvanes leading receiver in this football game.
The Green Bay Packers have won the NFC North for the third consecutive season and they are the first team to clinch a playoff spot in 2021.
They are currently the number one seed in the NFC. Head coach Matt LaFleur deserves a ton of credit for this.
As for head coach John Harbaugh of the Baltimore Ravens, they are in major trouble and currently out of a playoff spot in the AFC. The Cincinnati Bengals are currently in the lead for the AFC North. If the Cleveland Browns beat the Las Vegas Raiders (6-7) on Monday afternoon/evening, Cleveland will go into first, but if they lost, Cincinnati will stay there temporarily.
The Green Bay Packers (11-3) next football game will be home on Saturday afternoon on Christmas Day against the Cleveland Browns (7-6).
The Baltimore Ravens (8-6) next football game will be on the road on Sunday afternoon against the Cincinnati Bengals (8-6).
