2019 NFL Draft Hats from New Era
The San Francisco 49ers looked very sloppy the entire game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Pittsburgh leading 20-17 in the fourth-quarter, James Conner fumbled the football and gave it back to San Francisco with 5:36 remaining in regulation.

The 49ers took a 24-20 lead on a Jimmy Garoppolo 5-yard touchdown pass to Dante Pettis with 1:20 remaining in regulation. The Steelers had a chance to march the down the field late but failed to do and San Francisco won by the same score.

Garoppolo completed 23-of-32 passes for 277 yards one touchdown and two interceptions. He rushed for three yards on six carries. Pettis caught four passes for 20 yards receiving and a score. George Kittle was the leading receiver for the San Francisco 49ersĀ  with six receptions for 57 yards receiving.

Pittsburgh forced five turnovers in this game. Minkah Fitzpatrick sparked this defense in his debut after being traded from the Miami Dolphins. He forced two turnovers, but the Pittsburgh Steelers offense only scored six points off of five turnovers.

The San Francisco 49ers scored 14 points off of two turnovers in the game and that was the difference.

Chris Boswell kicked two field goals for Pittsburgh in the first-quarter from 46 and 26 yards out.

Robbie Gould made one field goal in the game for San Francisco and it was from 24 yards out. The 49ers took a 10-6 lead in the third-quarter on a Jeff Wilson 4-yard touchdown run.

The Steelers took the lead right back on a 76-yard touchdown pass to Juju Smith-Schuster from Mason Rudolph. Smith-Schuster finished with three receptions for 81 yards receiving and a score.

Wilson scored on a 4-yard touchdown run for San Francisco later in the third-quarter. He finished with 18 yards rushing on eight carries and two scores.

Raheem Mostert rushed for 79 yards on 12 carries for the San Francisco 49ers and he was there leading rusher.

Pittsburgh took a 20-17 lead with 10:28 remaining in regulation on a 39-yard touchdown pass to Dionate Johnson from Mason Rudolph.

Johnson caught three passes for 52 yards receiving and a score. He was starting in place of wide receiver Donte Moncrief and he did not play in this game.

Mason Rudolph completed 14-of-27 passes for 174 yards two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed for 15 yards on four carries.

James Conner was the Pittsburgh Steelers leading rusher with 43 yards on 13 carries. He also caught four passes for 14 yards receiving. Conner is not having a good season so far.

Rudolph wasn’t bad in his first career start in place of Ben Roethlisberger who is done for the season with an elbow injury.

Pittsburgh (0-3) will host the Cincinnati Bengals (0-3) next Monday night. San Francisco (3-0) will go on a bye week in Week 4. The San Francisco 49ers will then host the Cleveland Browns (1-1) in Week 5 on Monday Night Football on October 7.
