Amidst the Covid-19 global pandemic scare, every sports league from the NBA to the local muni-leagues have shut down indefinitely. However, light is starting to appear at the end of the tunnel.
As restrictions slowly get lifted, all major sports leagues are now discussing plans to either resume, play a modified ending to their season and play a shortened season.
The NBA is no exception, NBPA executive director Michele Roberts said the "overwhelming" sentiment has been that "they really want to play" and resume the 2019-20 NBA season, most likely in late July at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.
One of the main concepts is a 16 team, no conference affiliated, tournament. So just to have a little fun, and dream a little, here's what that would look like:
#1 Milwaukee v #16 Orlando
#2 LA Lakers v #15 Brooklyn
#3 Toronto v #14 Memphis
#4 LA Clippers v #13 Dallas
#5 Boston v #12 Philadelphia
#6 Denver v #11 Indiana
#7 Utah v #10 Houston
#8 Miami v #9 Oklahoma City
